For the 13th time, organizer UL DEWI welcomes the wind industry for the German Wind Energy Conference DEWEK (Deutsche Windenergie-Konferenz) in Bremen. The international conference on wind energy will take place over 2 days from Tuesday, 17. October to Wednesday, 18. October 2017. DEWEK is one of the wind industry’s most important forums focusing on science and technology developments of onshore and offshore wind turbines.
DEWEK 2017 offers lectures in 18 sessions and a panel discussion, plus poster presentations. Additional attractions include the traditional conference dinner in the historic town hall of Bremen, offering the chance for an informal and pleasant exchange for all participants.
Panel discussions
One of the highlights of the 13th DEWEK program is the panel discussion ‘Tenders for Wind Energy – First Experiences and Outlook for Market Development’, discussing the tendering system under the EEG 3.0, the experiences after two bidding rounds and the impact on the wind market in Germany. The panel discussion moderated by Nicole Weinhold, editor in chief of Erneuerbare Energien, will address the most important aspects of a German tendering system. Experts from government, research and industry will be taking part in this interesting and informative discussion.
Conference topics will focus on the latest scientific developments and address current wind industry challenges, particularly as technical optimization becomes ever more important to increase economic efficiency, reliability and durability over the extended lifetime of wind parks.
